Privacy Policy
We only collect what you choose to send us, we use it to reply to you, and we never sell it.
Last updated 5 October 2026
The key points
- The only personal details we collect are the ones you type into our contact form.
- We use them to reply to your enquiry and to prepare a proposal if you ask for one.
- We don’t use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers on this website.
- We never sell your information. You can ask us to see, correct or delete it at any time.
01Who we are
This website is operated by Banana Marketing (“Banana Marketing”, “we”, “us”). We are responsible for the personal information you share through it.
If you have a question about this policy or your information, contact us via info@bananamarketings.com.
02What we collect
When you send an enquiry through our contact form, we receive the details you enter:
- Your name and email address
- Your company name and website (optional)
- The services you are interested in
- What you would like help with
- Your approximate budget and timeline, if you choose to share them
Please don’t include sensitive personal information (for example health or financial account details) in your message.
We also handle a small amount of technical information:
- Your IP address, which we use for up to ten minutes to stop the contact form being flooded with spam. It is held in memory only and is not saved.
- Standard server logs kept by our hosting provider (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for security and to keep the website running.
- The country your IP address belongs to, which we look up to show prices in your local currency. If that lookup fails, your browser uses your device’s time zone and language instead. The result is not stored.
03How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and answer your questions.
- To prepare a proposal or quote if you ask for one, and to take the steps needed before working together.
- To protect the website and the contact form from spam and misuse.
We don’t use your details for automated decision-making, and we don’t add you to a marketing list unless you ask us to.
Where data-protection laws such as the UK or EU GDPR apply, we rely on these legal bases: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and keeping the website secure, and your consent where we ask for it.
05International transfers
Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer (such as standard contractual clauses) so that your information stays protected.
06How long we keep it
We keep enquiries only for as long as we need them to respond, follow up and, if we work together, manage that relationship. If we don’t go on to work together, we delete your enquiry once it is no longer needed. Rate-limiting data is discarded after ten minutes.
07Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct or complete it
- Ask us to delete it
- Object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it
- Receive it in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent
To make a request, contact us via info@bananamarketings.com. We will respond within the time limits set by the law that applies to you. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
09Security
This website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), the contact form checks and limits submissions, and access to enquiries is restricted to the people who need it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
10Children
Our services are for businesses. This website is not aimed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
11Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be made clear on the website.
