Banana Marketing: digital marketing agency pricingClear starting points.Scope built aroundyour growth.

Good marketing isn’t priced by the hour or the deliverable. It’s priced by the problem it solves. Here’s where every Banana Marketing service begins, what that investment covers and what shapes the final scope, so you can plan with confidence before we ever talk numbers.

How we think about pricing

Price the problem, not the task list.

Two businesses can ask for “SEO” and need completely different things. Different growth problems call for different combinations of strategy, creative, media, technology, content and optimisation, so we publish transparent starting prices and tailor the final scope to what your business actually needs.

What your investment covers

You’re not buying tasks. You’re funding a growth system.

The deliverable is only the visible part of the work. Every engagement includes the thinking before it and the improvement after it.

What you see

The deliverable

  1. 01

    Strategy

Goals, priorities and a plan that ties the work to commercial outcomes.

  2. 02

    Research

Market, competitor, customer and data analysis that informs every decision.

  3. 03

    Creative

Messaging, design and content crafted for your audience and brand.

  4. 04

    Implementation

Building, launching and managing the work across channels and platforms.

  5. 05

    Optimisation

Testing and refinement that improve results over time, not just maintain them.

  6. 06

    Measurement

Tracking, reporting and KPIs that show what’s working and what’s next.

…and what every engagement includes beneath it

How pricing is determined

Eight things that shape the final number.

  • 01

    Scope

How many outcomes, markets and moving parts the work needs to cover.

  • 02

    Competition

How hard your market is to win: in search, in auctions and in attention.

  • 03

    Channels

How many platforms and channels need to work together.

  • 04

    Creative requirements

The volume and complexity of design, copy and video.

  • 05

    Technology & tracking

Integrations, analytics, CRM and the state of your current setup.

  • 06

    Content volume

How much content is needed each month to compete.

  • 07

    Campaign spend

Larger media budgets need more management, testing and analysis.

  • 08

    Timeline

Faster delivery or launch deadlines may need more resource.

Engagement models

Retainer, project or custom.

  1. 1

    Monthly retainer

For channels that compound with continuous work: strategy, execution and optimisation every month.

    Best suited for

    • SEO
    • Social media
    • Paid media
    • Email marketing
    • Website maintenance

    Billed monthly

  2. 2

    One-time project

For defined outcomes with a clear start and finish: scoped, delivered and handed over.

    Best suited for

    • Website design
    • Audits
    • Landing pages
    • Branding
    • Conversion optimisation

    Scoped per project

  3. 3

    Custom engagement

For larger or multi-channel programmes where strategy, channels and teams need to work as one.

    Best suited for

    • Larger businesses
    • Multi-channel growth
    • Complex programmes
    • Ecommerce
    • Transformations

    Tailored proposal

Paid media, clearly

Management fee ≠ ad spend.

For Google Ads, Meta Ads and other paid media services, our starting prices are management fees. The advertising budget you pay to the platform is separate, unless a proposal explicitly states otherwise.

Management fee

  • Strategy
  • Account & campaign setup
  • Conversion tracking
  • Ongoing optimisation
  • Reporting & insight
How we manage paid media

Paid directly to the ad platform

Advertising spend

  • Google Ads
  • Meta (Facebook & Instagram)
  • LinkedIn, TikTok and others

You control the budget, and it’s billed by the platform.

Not sure what you need?

Know the problem? That’s enough to start.

You may know what’s not working without knowing which service fixes it. We’ll assess where you are today and recommend the right starting point, even if that’s a smaller first step.

What we assess

  • Current marketing
  • Website traffic
  • Funnel & journey
  • Paid acquisition
  • Search visibility
  • Content
  • Brand
  • Conversion

Why Banana Marketing

Pricing you can plan around.

  1. 01

    Transparent starting points

Published figures, so you can budget before the first call.

  2. 02

    Strategy before scope

We define the problem first, then recommend the work, never the other way round.

  3. 03

    No unnecessary channel stacking

We recommend the channels that will move your numbers, not the most channels.

  4. 04

    Clear deliverables

Every proposal states what’s included, how often and who owns what.

  5. 05

    Measurable KPIs

Agreed metrics tied to business outcomes, reported on a regular rhythm.

  6. 06

    Scalable engagement

Start focused and add channels or capacity as results justify it.

  7. 07

    Multi-channel capability

Search, paid, social, content, email, web and brand under one strategy.

Pricing questions

Questions about pricing.

01

How much does a digital marketing agency cost?

It depends on the services, scope and competitiveness of your market. As a guide, our monthly services start from $125/month for website maintenance, $300/month for social media management and $750/month for SEO, while one-time projects such as a marketing audit start from $997 and websites from $3,500. Final pricing is confirmed after we understand your goals and requirements.

02

How does Banana Marketing price its services?

We publish starting prices for each service, then scope the final engagement around your goals, competition, channels, creative and content volume, technology and timeline. Ongoing channels are usually monthly retainers; defined pieces of work are one-time projects; larger programmes are custom engagements.

03

Are advertising budgets included in PPC pricing?

No. Our Google Ads, Meta Ads and paid social prices are management fees covering strategy, setup, tracking, optimisation and reporting. Your advertising budget is paid directly to the platform and is separate, unless a proposal explicitly states otherwise.

04

Do you require long-term contracts?

Engagement terms are agreed in each proposal rather than fixed in advance. Some channels, such as SEO, need several months of consistent work to show meaningful results, so we’ll explain the timeline that makes sense for your goals before you commit.

05

Can I start with one service?

Yes. Many clients start with the service that addresses their most pressing problem, or with a marketing audit, and expand once the first channel is working. We’d rather you start focused than spread a budget too thinly.

06

Do you offer custom digital marketing packages?

Yes. When several services need to work together, we build a custom engagement around your goals rather than forcing a fixed bundle. Combining services under one strategy also avoids duplicated effort across channels.

07

What affects digital marketing pricing?

The main factors are scope, competition in your market, the number of channels, creative requirements, technology and tracking needs, content volume, campaign spend and timeline, plus how much of your existing marketing infrastructure we can build on.

08

Is there a minimum engagement?

The starting prices on this page are the minimum level at which we can deliver each service properly. Any minimum term or commitment is set out clearly in your proposal before work begins.

09

Can services be scaled later?

Yes. Engagements are designed to scale. You can add channels, increase content or creative volume, or expand into new markets as results and budgets grow. We review scope regularly so investment follows performance.

Plan your investment

Let’s build the right scope.

Tell us your goals, where things stand today, which services you’re considering, the budget you’re working with and what matters most. We’ll recommend a clear, prioritised scope, and the investment it needs.
